Step-by-Step Instructions
Prepare Your Workspace
Place your container on a tray or baking sheet. This will catch any overflow and make cleanup easier. Work near a sink if possible.
Add Baking Soda
Pour the baking soda into your container. If you want colored foam, add a few drops of food coloring now. You can also add a squirt of dish soap for extra bubbles!
Pour the Vinegar
Slowly pour the vinegar into the container with baking soda. Stand back and watch the amazing fizzing reaction! The mixture will bubble and foam dramatically.
Observe and Clean
Watch the reaction for a few minutes until it stops fizzing. This mixture is actually a great natural cleaner! Use it to clean sinks, drains, or tough stains.
The Science Behind It
🤓 Fun Fact
Real volcano eruptions are powered by gas trapped in magma beneath Earth’s surface.
