Step-by-Step Instructions

1

Mix the Base

Pour the entire bottle of white glue into a bowl.

2

Add Iron

Mix in 2-3 tablespoons of iron oxide powder until the glue turns dark gray/black.

3

Add Starch

Slowly add liquid starch while stirring until the slime forms and pulls away from the bowl.

4

Test with Magnet

Hold the magnet near the slime and watch it reach toward the magnet like it's alive!

The Science Behind It

Iron particles inside the slime align with the magnetic field when a magnet is nearby. This causes visible movement and shape changes in the slime mass.

🤓 Fun Fact

Magnetic fields can pass through many materials, including plastic and paper.
